Three months ago I wanted a pie crimper made from a coin. Now I have three.

    You need to carbon date the wooden handle on the Draped Bust one to see when it was made!

    those are special, especially the Draped Bust one. Looks as if it's been repaired a time or two.

    Very cool Americana with numismatic angle, particularly having a group of them.
    Imagine a type set of several of these pie crimpers, and/or other tools made with coins, would make a great display

    Man, that's neat. I overlooked this post.

    Until your more recent post, I had never seen one attached to a handle.

    Where does one find such things? I mean, I'm not in the market, but I'm wondering if these are antique store cherrypicks or from coin dealers.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
