To entertain and educate forum members, what characteristics tipped you off about this coin being a fake? It's good that you all knew this, but I wondered if there was more than one thing that pointed to it beign a fake. Pete

Once your eye becomes trained, they stick out like sore thumbs:
pot metal look, weak details, poorly formed date digits, uneven poorly formed denticles, porous surface, raised bumps on surface, mint mark location and type, die mismatches, etc.
This coin screams fake. Its an excellent example of the first five or six on my list.
