Picked up a 1911 five dollar Indian in PCGS AU58 today. Well, it used to be in a slab, until I liberated it this evening.

Nothing much this week, just 5x 1 oz silver Scotiabank bars. Go for a little premium, but not a whole lot.
I did just have a guy email me wanting to sell a 5 oz gold JM bar though.... Not sure if I really want it. But first I will see if I can line up a quick resell.
I got scammed this week No reply from seller yet either. One of those shoulda known better transactions that I had reservations on from the get go. At least it was only $250, but it still stings because I knew better.

Some neat stuff this week! love the 100 gram JM bar and the 10 gram Valcambis (they look like little chocolate bars ). The Engelhard kilo bar is neat too.

Anyone know anything about that United States Assayers bar?

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Why did you crack it out? This series is very heavily counterfeited and the slab added value to this coin because of the authenticity guarantee that comes with PCGS slabs.

It is an attractive coin but it's maxed out at AU58 due to the wear visible in the pics. There is an expense to get it reslabbed including the shipping costs both ways and it does take time to get it reslabbed should you want to sell it.

Hopefully some old poured bars will show up in tomorrow's mail. Pictures to follow.

Very nice - is that 5 oz bar a new retro-pour or an older piece?

It is a newer bar, with only about 100 or so made as far as I've heard. Love the hex shape on this thing.
I've been looking for that style to add to my stack for a while now
