NFL DRAFT - Lets get this party started.

As a Browns fan im pumped for tonight. I have not started drinking yet but I just went and got a 12 pack. Im not liking all this talk about someone trading up to 3rd and taking TR away from us. I fully expect alot of trades tonight, and a few by the Browns. What do you guys think your teams are going to do.

GO BROWNS

I'm a Browns fan (and Ravens fan... figure that one out), and I can't help but to feel like the Browns will find some way to screw this draft up. I just have this sinking feeling that the Browns will end up trading down like they always do. I'll be watching tonight with the blanket pulled over my head...

I dont see us sitting idle this draft, we will be very active. I think H & H realize they need to do something now or the door may hit them in the rear end and push them into the unemployment line (or the local Citgo).

You would think so... but I just don't know. You know as well as I do, what it feels like to be a Browns fan, or a Cleveland fan in general. Things like this have a tendency to not go our way. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Well, since the Falcons don't have a first round pick and we were able to trade for Asante Samuel, I guess that's gonna help a little(maybe?)

Bucs Fan Here, I am getting excited! Hoping we don't do something stupid and give up our 3rd rounder to the Vikings to move up 2 spots and draft Richardson. Additionally, Hoping like hell that the Vikings stay put and draft Kalil, thus Richardson or Claiborne fall. Luke Kuechly wouldnt be a bad consolation price at MLB, as we need to a CB, RB, SS and OLB/MLB in this draft. My perfect draft would look something like this:

    1-Claiborne CB LSU
2-Doug Martin RB Boise State or David Wilson RB Virgina Tech
    3-LaVonte David OLB Nebraska

I'm a Steeler fan and I have no clue what they will do. They usually go for best player but they do have several needs. There's been talk of them taking Hightower, Poe or a lineman with their first pick. I think it will come down to who's left on the board that they like. They could even trade up or down if they really want a player. That's what makes the draft exciting. Every mock can get upended as soon as the first team goes with an unconventional pick that screws up the cascading the rest of the round.

one scenario i heard is that the browns can draft kalil with their pick and the bears would trade forte and their first rounder for him and the 22nd pick. Not bad for both imo

Rams fan here. I too am hoping the Vikings take Kahlil. I would be happy with TR, Claiborne or Blackmon. We need help everywhere. However, I hope we grab Blackmon. Bradford needs WR help bad. I also hope we take Alshon Jeffery (WR from South Carolina) with the first pick of the 2nd round. That would give Bradford a guy that can stretch the field as well as a stud in the red zone.

They might do that. Like I said, it's not like they have major holes to fill. I think if the Blackmon and Claiborne are gone they will trade.

I'm not unhappy at all with what my Bucs did. Picked up an extra 4th and filled a need. Hear they compare this Barron kid to Ronnie Lott. That's high praise if true. Filled a HUGE whole in that secondary. Would be shocked if a CB or RB isn't the pick in rd. 2

Matt, that was a solid pick by the Bucs. Although I am not happy with the Bucs. That trade cost the Rams Justin Blackmon. UGHHH.

Not sure I am happy with the Rams pick. Thought they should have taken the OG out of Stanford. They were last in the league in sacks allowed.

BTW, Pete Carroll is a dufus. Maybe the worst drafter of ALL TIME.

Brockers is a raw talent that most guys felt like if he stayed another year he would be a top 5 pick next year. The Rams have holes everywhere but I thought they would have went with one of the OL at that spot.

Irvin has the talent and skill to succeed as a pass rusher but the off field issues are a real concern. A very risky pick b/c Irvin could be out of the league in a few years if he can't stay out of trouble.

He's a good run defender but needs to develop as a pass rusher.

Yep, and its not like he has a lot of time for the Browns to build a team around him. IMO he would of been there at #37.

I love the Richardson pick but the Weeden pick could have waited. Weeden = D.Anderson w/ less INT's?
