April 23, 2012: Large Cent!

Got out today to the corn field. Tried around an area that used to have a barn... so lots of iron. Got a somewhat deep high pitched signal and about 6 or so inches down comes copper #3 for the year. It's in horrible shape and probably got mashed against a rock, but at least it can be identified - a Matron head large cent. Also got a 1917 Canadian large cent and a tombac. HH all!
