Any chance it could bump? 1955 Topps Hank Aaron + others added

The only thing I'm sure of is....this is not your average 8. The back is super clean. The corners aren't razors but nice. Color and gloss is nice and the back is gorgeous. I showed this to Doug (Piggs) and he liked it very much.

No, I said I'd like to have it very much.image The back is one of the cleanest bright white '55's I've ever seen. Nice card bump or not.

The centering top to bottom will keep it from bumping.

also the loss of yellow inside the circle i think would hold it back, but there's no predicting PSA grading/reviews/bumpage until ya try, eh? image

My theory on bump ups is this.....Flip a coin

Im still annoyed about my past experience trying to get bump ups, I had a stunning Otto Graham card in a 7 holder that I tried 3 times to get the .5 and it got shot down all 3 times well I sold it and ofcourse the new owner sent it in and whamo he gets the .5 bump on the first try.

Enjoy the card as is its absolutely gorgeous dont bother spending the extra money.
  • I say no to all of them. None of them are undergraded and none are overgraded. The grade fits for all of them.

  • L/R centering on 69 may be an issue, but I'd give that a shot.
  • I agree with ezyshooter that all the cards pictured are graded accurately.

In my opinion, the card that would have the best chance to bump is the '69 Mantle, and the card that would have the least chance is the '55 Bowman Mantle PSA 7.5 with the cert number ending in 718.

    The 69 is a razor.

Is that dust on the two 7.5 Bowmans on the bottom right corner. They have that white speck in the same spot. Thought they were the same card bc of it but they are def different .
But Id say out of those the 1955 bowman PSA 8 Bowman mantle is sick. That should be sent in for a bump review. Nice group of cards btw.

darn tootin'. that card would not look out of place in MINT 9 holder. i've seen similar 69's with light tilt and pinpoint corners get it.

go for it. and don't stop until they give it to ya.

Send in all 6 together - they'll bump one or two. Complete roll of the dice as to which though. The first 7.5 Bowman is really nice - what is on the armpit?

    I agree with Mike...

No way that 55 Aaron bumps. Bottom left corner is the stopper. I had a 55 of the same card in a PSA 8 that I tried to bump a couple of times with better centering and corners and it was a no go. I think it's a nice 8, but nothing more. Still, nothing to be ashamed of--great card!

Yes. I don't really think the 55 Aaron is a .5- just a very solid 8. The PSA 8 55 Mantle is one of my favorites and is very strong all the way around.

Join the club Thunderdan I wanted to just buy one of Danny's measly 7.5 '55 B Mantle's and got the big NO. Mickey loves his Mickey's. I agree on the '69 by the way, that is a stud card and I'd send that one in for some bumpage.

Danny, you have a strong eye my friend. Beautiful cards as usual! I think the centering on the 55 hurts your bump chances. Still a great looking card(s). image
