FYI- BBCE picked up some 70s/80s stuff

Baseball Card Exchange made a Facebook post a few minutes ago and wanted to share it.

I rented a minivan for this buying trip - big mistake. The van is full and riding low, but at least I can still see out the back window through the rear view mirror. Picked up some nice 70s/80s unopened in all four sports in central PA. Checking out a vintage deal tomorrow of 1956-63 Topps baseball in NM condition (I'm being optimistic) in a small town somewhere between Harrisburg and Philadelphia.
** Working on the following sets-2013 Spectra Football Hall of Fame 50th Anniversary Autograph set, 2015 Spectra Football Illustrious Legends Autograph set, 2014-15 Hall of Fame Heroes autograph set. **

Not all the product in central PA is bad. Thanks for the vote of confidence that we can actually tell the difference between good and bad product.

Not quite sure yet. All the stuff I've been buying over the last few days won't make it to the office until next Tuesday, but Steve and I leave the following morning for Arizona to buy another 70s/80s deal that's probably five times the size of the stuff we just bought. That stuff won't make it back to the office until the second week in May, as I'm driving it back the long way - Arizona to Chicago - with scheduled stops so far in Nevada, Montana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

    It's paoutdoorsman country.
  • It's great to hear you've unearthed some 70's / early 80's stock. A few years ago there was a group rip of a mix of years (BB - 80's mostly) and I bought about 20 packs. Let us know the list and hopefully a group will be organized. It's a lot of fun.
