a perfect 100-0 ratio is very rare and I can see it selling for 100x book.

exactly.don't dump junk on new collectors.maybe this is why this hobby will go way of the dinosaurs.

So the problem is that eBay has some overpriced baseball cards?

There's some skipper riding around on a dinghy in Canada that might be willing to overpay $39 on a card to remain a member of the hobby heavyweight club.

this hobby is run by dinosaurs, but is being overrun by locusts and garden snakes.

    and bunnies. hordes of bunnies.

The guys I hate are the ones printing fake cards and trying to pass them off as real.
Had a guy print up a 1959 bazoka and glued it to cardboard and sold it off. Looked legit but in hand you could tell it was a print out. But damn good. Wiped my as with it and mailed it back. JK i think

so somebody here is trying to sell this card
  • handymanhandyman Posts: 5,388 ✭✭✭✭✭
who knows. Its just there will always be over priced cards. Thats the least worry to most. Fakes and scammers are far worse in most eyes here.
Over priced is something we can all live with I think.
They dont make us buy it.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes; they've got those hoppy legs and twitchy little noses.
And what's with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?

eyesight? why, to find more bunnies, of course. the more bunnies begat more bunnies, the more bunnies there are, and so on and so on.....
if only for a method of birth control, would there be far fewer bunnies, Dan. image

the dinosaurs will continue feeding on their vegetation. image

I think everything in this world should cost .01 cent! Ill buy every home in the world and then I wont sell any of them to anyone!! That would be a dream .
But I might need to trade a few to the guy who bought all the food and meds.
    But thats it!
Well maybe I need a few guns now that I think about it..
    And beer..
    But thats it!!
Crap I didnt get any bullets and Im out of beer!
    Oh neighbor!!

    Just having fun.
But agree with the OP as it is anoying to see over priced junk
    But the market does decide.

The worst is when they just throw PSA 9 into the title and upon closer inspection of the picture you see it's PSA 9 OC or something. Really annoying

A bear is taking a dump in the woods. He turns to a bunny and asks if he has problems with crap sticking to his fur. The bunny replies "no". So the bear wipes his a*$ with the bunny.
