My most cherished coins

So, my birthday yesterday. My kids (12 & 7) give me a package that contains a well loved 1879 s Morgan and a 1922 Peace that lost a fight with a Brillo pad. But they took mommy to the "special store" where daddy gets his coins and got me two with the "pictures of the ladies he likes", these will stay with my "never ever sell" pile! Sorry, no time to mess with photobucket for pics, but y'all know what they look like! Just proves it is the thought that counts. image

    Well he is fortunate. I have little to no family. I haven't even acknowledged my birthday in over 10 years.

    You could carry them as "good luck" pocket pieces.
    Eventually the "brillo pad" effect would get worn off and you'd have nice well-circulated coins.

    You can't buy a good-luck charm. You can only find a good-luck charm, or have one given to you.
