<< <i>A year or so someone on the boards advised the rest of us of an easy way to disable the ads that PCGS forums started putting on the site. It worked great but I had to recomputerize and the new system has all the ads and I can not recall the simple steps to disable the ads. Iv'e tried to research it on the archives to no avail, any help is appreciated. >>

I remember our hosts threatening to ban anyone turning off the ads from the sponsors that help pay for this forum. After awhile I stopped even noticing them.

solution to your problem was probably removed from the forum by your host in all fairness to their advertisers. Maybe someone that knows will PM you.

Are they really this stupid, or are they destroying the dollar on purpose?

Most browsers have an add-on or setting for it, just try googling it.

I never notice the ads, had it been 15 years ago when I was on dial up it might have bothered me.

Don't 'out' your google searches, as the ads on most sites are based on what you have recently searched for online.image

I use an add-on with Firefox because a couple of websites' ads are really annoying but I have the CU forum on the exception list. I feel it's fair to our host.

Does CU even make anything on these ads unless folks click the ads? Wonder how many clicks they get here?
