help with american coin

i am going through a coin collection for a friend, giving him a value on coins, and there are some american.
long story short... there is a nice 1921-d ten cents...nice pull, but there is a 1942 s that is a definite double date (or reengraved as it is also called) could not find it in book
any comments on rarity? prob grade a ef by canadian standards. Comments?

great that it's ejection/mechanical doubling,
a VERY common effect on many many coins,
especially Mercury Dimes.
Scans would help, but if the second image
you see, off the main date, is flatter, that's
a sign of E/M.D
