In the spirit of Dr. Tim my very first pack ripping thread and guess my 30k post contest thread, som

About a week ago I was in a Walmart buying suspenders because at my age my pants for some reason
keep falling down. No, I did not lose the 5 pounds I gained this winter, nor did I lose the 5 from the previous winter
either for that matter. So, after much deliberation, I decided on a tan colored pair (set?) the first time I used them I
found my gig line at my chin, which I have since corrected. Anyhoo at checkout I chose a pack of 2012 Topps (big spender) I know. Well short story long
I forgot about them. While perusing the forum here I saw one of the multitude of pack ripping threads, you know created by one of you guys
that has brought the forum down? (to my level) And the little bell that's in my head rang. DING. I race down the 2 flights of stairs, ok I gently walked
down the 2 flights and recovered my bounty. So without further ado I'll begin my rip so stay tuned. Oh yeah the contest. I'll get to that.

Since, I'm also an edit whore I'll keep adding to this post when the need arises or I could get to 30k before the contest is even started.

So kick back and enjoy!

Edit #1 When I reach 29500 I'll mention the rules for the contest and the prize.....s....Thanks for humoring me.

Edit # 2 I was going to list the 1st Prize but that would be contradictory to edit # 1.
Good for you.

    Hiya Steve

Geez - we started just about at the same time - how did you get 10K ahead of me!

Was it all those breaks I took? Am I slacking? Did you go over to the "secret coin open forum" and run amok!

Did they poof all the Dr Timmy threads?

If anyone is looking for Timmy - he ran off to look for Lassie.

I gotta say - 30K is a milestone considering you weren't an Open Forum guy. I do remember one nite years ago - we went over there to defend a fellow "card forum" guy - do you remember? Don't remember who it was?

Good luck on the rip! One pack?

    Mike

I'm betting there's a 1 of 1 game worn swatch, signed and glued to a metal double black gold refractor card in that pack. Good luck!

    Without further ado:

Mike at least 10k are the result of my flames with Axtell. Sorry Tommy you don't make the cut.

    :-)

I think it was Perry (PAndrews) who we defended in the open forum.

I'm sitting here with my thumbs under the suspender straps, god I feel like a b&%*#h.

And this!! Maybe in 40 years I can sell it and get some big $
    image

    image

    image

Oh did I mention that when I got home I noticed the bill for the suspenders and pack was 40.00 more than it should
have been? The cashier charged me for a full box, not one pack. I wrote it off because I did not want to get anyone
fired and that's just how I roll.

Is this gold thingy special? Am I special? My mother always said I was.

Tune in tomorrow same PSA time, same PSA channel.

    Good for you.

+100 for bringing up the open forum. For those that weren't here at the time, the open forum was...well...indescribable.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
