Bout to get 12 Negs all in one fell swoop !!!

Morning,

Basically just a general Whine. !!!

Had a nice run going, over 2 years this time with no Negs. Long story short, sold two different lots of PSA 1977 Stars Wars Cards 12 to this douchbag and 9 more to a Buyer in Great Britian. Accidently flipped shipping lables printed from E-Bay. This douche contacts me yesterday with these two gems to start the conversation:

Dear thedutymon,
You sent me orange cards that were supposed to go to Judith Irving. I paid alot more than 71.01 that Judith paid. I want the Blue Cards I paid for!!!!Kelly Bresan

Minutes later:

Dear thedutymon,
I am going to open a case and leave negative back if you do not send me the blue cards I paid for or give me a full refund!Kelly- hga159

So I apologized admitted my mistake and offered to Pay for shipping back to me, also offered complete refund plus shipping back to me after I recieved cards back and the E-Mails continued over the next couple hours with the gist being that I am to Pay for this persons Time and Gas to go to the Post Office to Return the Cards AFTER I send them their Cards or Negs will be immediatly forthcoming.

I actually reached out to E-Bay and was at least proactive (Not that it really means anything), they read through all of the e-mails and agreed that the demands were unreasonable and told me to not do anything until he opened the NASD cases, then he needs to send cards back first before cards are sent to him or refund. I told him all this and although he dropped the demand to pay for his time/gas still insists he is not sending anything back until he gets his cards.

Mean time the Nice Lady in England contacted me back and said no problem she will send the cards back as soon as she gets them, I send her $20 refund to cover that this morning.

Sent one last e-mail this morning that she will send cards when she gets them and that I will refund him $10 for shipping back to me.....already know the answer when he e-mails back, after the 13 nasty e-mails he sent last night. He's going to tell me to go pound sand and Neg me 12 times !!!

Aw the Fun on E-Bay just never ends, There goes my 20% discount for the next year!!!!

    Man - those non-sports card collectors you deal with are nuts. I got lucky the one time I swapped sales - both guys could not have been nicer...hoope this doesn't end too badly for you. And I will be looking to block hga159 for having no understanding.

    It amazes me how uncivil people can be to one another. Sad, really. I can't imagine treating anyone that poorly after a perfectly acceptable explanation. I guess I'm not leading enough of a miserable existence.

    I thought for feedback, if a buyer buys multiple items from you at the same time, and provides feedback for all of them, it only counts for 1 feedback. That is, in case, maybe ebay will only count the 12 negative feedbacks as 1 negative feedback (similar w/ the DSRs), and you might still be able to keep your Top Rated Status.

    I hope this is correct ! Seems like this is the way it works for positive's, but have never had many Negs, so don't know all the ins and outs.

    Fingers crossed here, he answered back this afternoon fairly civilized and I sent him $15 to send the Cards back to me, he said he will get them shipped tomorrow.

    I have found that people, by and large, have very unreasonable expectations in this life. We all are far from perfect and make mistakes. However, the minute a mistake is made people get crazy; expect compensation and in bigger stuff are ready to sue. It's just crazy.
