Weekend ending 3/18/12 - First piece of Tiffany!!

And here it is...
Yeah, not what I was thinking either for my first piece of Tiffany, but still neat. I bet the handle was Sterling, so the best part is missing.
Got out to a few places this weekend with a friend. It's finally detecting weather up here in the boonies. Today I went to a place and some areas are still frozen, but that should be fixed by the end of this week!
Got out to a couple of cellar holes, and some water sites, and a field this weekend. And in the end, I'm beat!
These places were mostly slow going, but in the end managed:
- 1861 Nova Scotia One Cent from a cellar hole
- Dateless Merc from the water area (first silver of the year!)
- I believe 1861 IHC from water area - pretty much toast
- what I first thought was a solid silver Catholic Medal, but she's just plated
- few wheats
It was in the 70s today, unheard of for March, absolutely amazing!
