<< <i>Nice to see all you guys join Doug, Mike and Jim, also packman,nascar360, Jim i know you have a rack with my favor Lou Brock card, maybe we'll see it soon,,,,,,,Jose >>
Jose, I assume you mean this rack:
I must not have looked at this box in 25 years becuase I did not remember who else was showing on some of these rack packs. Out of the 24 racks in the box, 12 have at least 1 hall of famer showing, in some way (not counting team cards) showing on the top or bottom. If interested I can show the others. I guess this box really was unopened and unsearched when I bought it but I cannot find the purchase shown on my records so that means it was probably 82 or earlier. Here is a picture of the box:
You assumed right Jim, T.Y. 1976 topps is racks and cellos star packs are pretty scarce and one of my favors! if i was allowed to have only one brock card, w/diregard of value that's it and yes Manny, Mike, Tim, and many others would be interested on seing them Jose

Absolutely Jose, when you get the chance Jim, it would be great to see those packs even if you only do them one at a time. I've been very, very busy at work but I promise to post some more racks over the weekend to make up for it.

here is a cool rack that has no header unfortunately. I bought it nonetheless because of its star power. I mean not many racks with the GREAT Jim Brown on top. Looks to be a '64 Fleer. It is actually a 3 cello rack pack. I am guessing 12 cards per pack. Very cool item.
check out the cool Caddy in the background of his card! May have been Jim's car !!

OK, I will post a few at a time with the least interesting first:
First a league leader card of Jim Palmer:
Now we have a World Series card that does have Pete Rose. I know he is not in the Hall of Fame but I am sure you can probably make out some others in the picture. (And there is a minor star on the back with Tim McCarver).

Very nice Sandberg and Seaver racks. I think we needto show a run of Seaver on top racks from 67 forward. I bet Jose has most of those. I would really like to see a 72.

Ok here are the last 2 star racks from the 76 box. These both have a little extra:
And here is one for the Pirate fans:
That is all from the 76 box. I hope you enjoyed and remeber them whenever this box ends up for sale in the future. Of course it probably means I'm gone and my wife is selling it. I will see if I can pull a couple of 77's out in the future. Keep posting the racks.

Jim, that is such a great rack pack and that is my favorite Seaver card. I'd try to get it from you, but I know you are like me regarding your packs. I'll just pretend that it is in my collection and you are just holding onto it for safe keeping.
I wish I wasn't so busy lately, but here is another 78 Ryan rack packs for now to go along with Jose's previous submission.

I mainly try to buy cello packs now but do have a few rack packs.
Here are my two favorite rack packs.
Both of these packs were gifts from my wife and children for Christmas. We purchased the Rice/Esiason pack from Muggyman. The Don Mattingly was bought from BBCE and they even put a cardboard back on it with the sticke. As a Bengals fan it was the coolest 1986 Topps FB rack we could think of to own.

Mark - Nice rack packs. I picked up a couple of 3 star packs from last week's auctions: A 1983 Topps with Reggie Jackson and Joe Morgan on front and Yaz on back and an '84 pack with Gwynn on front and Carew and Winfield on back.
Daniel, I thought it was odd how some of the 81-84 star racks went real cheap and others went for crazy prices. I remember the 82 racks with Lee Smith rookie on top were going for around $45-50.
BTW, I remember the Jackson/Morgan/Yaz rack. That is a nice rack.
<< <i>Picked up a nice 75 FB rack from Jose the other day.
Bradshaw on top and Mel Blount rookie on back. Also another Steeler on back. Thanks Jose.
