Jose, that is probably one of the most impressive rack packs shown so far. The 71 racks are by far the hardest to find and to have two stars on top...Awesome!!!

here is a little something that I picked up many moons ago when this guy's rookie card was one of the hottest out there. I pad $350 for this rack----and had to BEG the dealer to sell it to me.
Man what could have been........
just a reminder that a rack does not have to be expensive or vintage to post here...have a good day men
And BTW--there is an "Airplane" the movie reference here....no prizes for getting it, but do you see it?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Jose, I don't think many people realize how hard it is to find these 1983 Donruss rack packs and to get one with 2 stars on it like yours is almost impossible to find. Great looking rack!!! I will take the time to scan these individually at some points, but here is a picture of a few of mine.

Those are beautiful racks Jose especially the Ripken, Sandberg one. I'm a big fan of those 83 Donruss racks. If you ever decide to sell any of them, just let me know.

I just have to say this is a great thread. I love seeing the old Racks I use to rip open. I have a few Racks with stars on top but nothing that comes close to what you guys are posting.
Always looking to buy old Minnesota Twins and Vikings memorabilia like Nodders, Photo Pennants, and Photo Buttons.
here is my absolute BEST and Fav rack...been posted before, but has to be re-posted in this rack thread. Amazing beauty. My boyhood idol. Only 3 known to exist I believe.

Manny, I just wanted to say that not much impresses anymore these days with regards to unopened product but your Yaz rack is truly a gem. As you know there are a lot of counterfeit '60s racks out there but this one is the REAL deal. And having been in the unopened hobby for 10 years this pack is truly one of my all-time favorites and I am most envious of it!!! Congrats on owning such a treasure.

As most of youknow, the majority of my good stuff is gone. However, I found a few racks with stars showing. Nothing very valuable, but I figured I'd throw 'em up:

Great classic racks Doug!!! At one time, that Strawberry and Gooden were big bucks. Too bad things don't work out the way we hoped they would.
Packman, thanks for the change of pace. I do vaguely remember seeing those packs as a kid. Were the Beatles included in that set or were they just American bands?

No Beatles in the set. There were 36 cards issued in the first series. The second series never made it out. If interested, the 36 cards from the first series and 3 of the test cards from the second series are here: Set

Jose, I assume you mean this rack:
I must not have looked at this box in 25 years becuase I did not remember who else was showing on some of these rack packs. Out of the 24 racks in the box, 12 have at least 1 hall of famer showing, in some way (not counting team cards) showing on the top or bottom. If interested I can show the others. I guess this box really was unopened and unsearched when I bought it but I cannot find the purchase shown on my records so that means it was probably 82 or earlier. Here is a picture of the box:
