Remember all those vending cases posted on Facebook BBCE was set to get in today?

Was trying to find someone to split one with me and I noticed this update from Steve shortly after they had been put into the site's inventory...

"UPDATE: SORRY, BUT ONE PERSON CALLED AND TOOK ALL 22 CASES WITHIN 1 HOUR OF US POSTING THESE CASES!! Thanks! Steve"

Wow!
Dear Shark,
Thanks for ruining this little fish's fun image

don't be so sure about that. Maybe he or she is just smarter than us and has the cash. What put it in a CD and get--nothing?

82 Vending - except for Ripken RC and some HOFs, not much there.

83 Vending - probably the best of the bunch, but even the high grade big three RC's not doing much.

84 Vending - Mattingly and that is it. I bought 10 PSA 9's for $12 each last year.

85 Vending - Big Mac, Puckett and Clemens. Not much to hope for other than that, and I don't see any of these, except maybe Big Mac, taking off. Clemens PSA 8's going for $5.
Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.

  • 1982 can be an extremely profitable and '82s hold up very well in a Vending Case.
Doesn't take much to make a profit

Bench VCP $115 <-- Last one was in '09 so it's HIGHER, much HIGHER
    Schmidt In Action $200
    Schmidt $105
    Nolan Ryan $240
    Nolan Ryan RB $120
    Ripken $450
    R.Jackson $200
    Yaz $300
    Yaz IA $100
    Ozzie $200

Plenty of other cards getting $75-100+

Or they were tired of getting burned by the CU members who have been buying up 70s/80s material like it was going out of style
