Does PCGS ever contact NGC to let them know to update their census

If a coin gets crossed into PCGS holder?
Does it happen vise versa?
thanks

And if it is a tough coin it is in the submitter's interest to do so, in order to keep the pops low.
Although the submitter may want to wait awhile, in order to obscure the fact that a coin crossed, if that is information they don't want public.

Just wondering about the true numbers in the population reports, how accurate they really are.
That is all.

I guess it is like a large invisible elephant in a room? Something like that. I thought the scanner/photographer thingie (pre-sniffer by like a month or two as far as being told about it prexisiting use) was to remove the crack-out resubmit game. Did it not pay off

who would benefit?
Everyone but PCGS. And PCGS would be harmed, because a new lower NGC pop might drive submissions to NGC instead of PCGS.

To keep the pop reports accurate?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
