This coin is not a DDR. It is machine doubled.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

I agree; looks like machine doubling.

    Since its NOT a DDR..............................

................................... you can "fix" it with 400 grit sandpaper.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

I was going to suggest spend it, but you can sand it first. image

    verdigris is nasty.

I have a lamination error Kennedy Half Dollar that I think someone cleaned off verdigris with using acid. (it's still on the edge somewhat). Ruined the coin. Very sad.

Not a DDR... fixing it could be worse than the problem... sometimes verdigris leaves unsightly corrosive marks, depending on the extent.... Cheers, RickO

Thanks everyone. I guess this is one time I should be happy it's not s DD because of the verdigris. In the the event it was a DD I guess it's best to leave the coin alone. The hunt continues.
