1944 D Mercury Dime doubling

I'm sure this is just machine doubling, but wanted to ask your opinions anyway. this new microscope is fun but turning
into a lot of work.

    Perhaps a worn/abraded die. Does not look like a doubled die.

    Could be die erosion. Hard to tell from the image but not a DDO.

    Is there some way to turn down the brightness of the pic? It's hard to see what is really going on.

    Does not look like DD, brightness needs to be muted a bit though.... Cheers, RickO
