Today (March 2nd) is Texas Independence Day and my 50th BD - post something over 50!

This is not a coin but just a couple years older than 50 years. A 49 star American flag from 1959. This flag was only good from like March to August of '59. It was for the admission of Alaska as the 49th State and good only until Hawaii was admitted later that year. I bought this flag when I was 11 years old and it was stored amongst my memories. That is why the flag is wrinkled and spotted.
