Underwater Metal Detecting

I am brand new to the Metal Detecting World, but there is soooooo much history out there. I currently have a Garret 350, and have been having a lot of fun with it. But I want to take the next leap and branch off into aqua detecting. I currently live in Southern Maryland, and so much history washes up on our shores. How should I go about preparing for future adventures? I've decided to take a break from buying coins so it wouldn't take too long to raise the funds.

Ain't no substitute for just gettin' out there and gettin' yer knees dirty (and/or wet).

It's sure a pleasant change of pace from buying coins, too.
