<< <i>My first time looking at this post. I noticed a few of the cards did not show a team logo on the players hats. Can someone explain? I'm not that familiar with cards from this era.

Airbrushed out by Topps. Players traded in off season and no time to get a new pic in the new uniform. No photoshop back then so they did a quick fix.

Thank you bwf for the courtesey of a reply. I have a few 61's and 63's I bought as a kid but didn't buy another card until 1986.

Collect for the love of the hobby, the beauty of the coins, and enjoy the ride.
Sent in 109 cards from the set to be graded. On business day 22 and no poppage on 160 card sub. Longest I've ever waited on a sub and I've graded over 2000 cards across 25+ subs in the last 3 years.

This set is awesome and a great find. I always wanted to buy/start this set because it was the year that I was born. I have looked at a ton of them on Ebay and those corners are very sharp. The Black border is what makes it so hard to find nice ones, but when they are in this condition they look even better. Keep us updated on the poppage.
Business day 45 has passed and still no poppage, pathetic. It also took 10 days to log. Over 2 months to grade 159 cards. I may have to cut back on my $300+ monthly expenditure to PSA. Hell, I've got almost $2000 in grading fees out there right now.
