One of my best finds for my Morgan set!

Hello Everyone,

Some of you may, or may not know, but I have been working on a set of Morgan Dollars by picking them up at the local Assay Dealer. I've been very fortunate, and have already got myself a wonderful collection going with many BU, and AU coins, and a few of the harder to find ones in lesser grades. None the less, I am having a rocking good time putting this collection together. Today, I found this one! Poor poor shape, but it still is a CC!!! image I am pretty proud of myself. Flipping that coin over and seeing the mintmark was a thrill!

That's a great find! Sounds like your having a lot of fun.
Whenever I see an unrecognized cc morgan on ebay it always ends up that somebody else does too.

Even though the key PUPS are worn beyond recognition on the obverse, I can tell from the mm placement that you have a TOP 100 VAM 6 (Doubled Die Obverse). BONUS!

Can you tell me more about this?!

An Assay dealer is a dealer that buys and sells bullion. Hence, people come in sell there silver for a little less than spot, and I buy at spot! image Good times!!!

The mint mark is set right and the top of the second "C" touches the bottom of the wreath.
    Many happy BST transactions
