Slim pickins' again this week, but at least a couple of better than average pieces. 1993 Libertad in a Littleton holder. High end MS, beautiful strike. And a 1-oz JM bar in plastic. Both for about a buck over melt each:

I picked up 24 oz. this week.
1 roll of 2012 eagles, and some slabbed eagles.

Tiny tear in this tiny bar's plastic allowed for tiny a pretty metallic prune splash...

Going to a show on Sunday and will update on what I get there if anything
not deliver all of the silver they sold paper on. Guess the Comex didn't need the competition.
Another different JM 10oz for the stack.
I was able to buy 15 commem dollars (olympic and Statue of Liberty) for $25 each. Some of
the sets had halves too.
Really like that "ABC" Bar

Thanks. Last year I found a lot of nice Englehards, this year seems to be JM. I go by the same BM every day so I don't miss anything.
Got these a few weeks ago.
I'm a little late to the party but I have a question...
What is better than a kilo bar?
Answer = 2 kilo bars!
It's all about what the people want...

I've never seen this type before. Is the lettering raised and the SN stamped?

I knew it would happen.
After I quit peeing my pants, I'm going to come up with an offer.....somewhere north of about $1600, maybe a lot more north.
Almost perfect and in the OGP.
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

<< <i>DNADave---Nice looking 1911A1. Does it have the "idiot mark"? >>
Nope, (I had to look it up), This one is pristine. The barrel isn't even marked where the bushing on the slide would come into contact. No been fired much at all.

You'll have to educate me on that one >>
Anyone familiar with the M1911 platform knows what I'm talking about. After a field strip and cleaning, if you aren't careful reassembling it, you can easily put a scatch in the slide or the receiver with the slide stop. Do a google search and you'l find a lot of information and pics. Show us a pic of the left side of this gun and I'll let you know if there is an idiot mark. They are fairly common on M1911's and it does affect their value and can be used when negotiating a purchase price.

Its only the second one of this type I've seen. This one and the other one (P000116) I own have low serial numbers. The lettering is not raised. Both the Lettering and SN are stamped but the SN appears to have been stamped separately as it is more deeply impressed.
