When a coin spots, what do you do?

Am curious about what the community does regarding the spots. I have 2 coins that I was keeping as spare (thankfully not my pristine ones) developing spots, not very noticeable yet but wondering if it should be unloaded ASAP (while notifiying in description it's developing spots) or kept. Thanks!

copper?...you could soak in olive oil
very valuable?...you could send to ncs service at ngc
does your storage maybe cause this?
most times off better to just unload them if they bug you now....some spots grow and grow
you bet i'd list that too if you sell them and images skill lacks

Excellent advice and agree with all the above. We need more details and pics would help. Don't forget that gold coins can also spot.
