  • I think the hope is that people will browse around and buy more of the seller's items as long as they're buying that one. If that's not it, I'm stumped.

    I am only an occasional seller, but my cutoff is about ten bucks. If I can't get ten bucks for an item, it isn't worth the effort to sell it online.
