How much would this bother you?

I go to send money through PAYPAL (Gift) for cards to submit in a group sub and when I go to send payment it says that the member is not yet registered and I would have to send payment and paypal would notify him to complete the registration process. I'm thinking...what a start to a group sub. I have not sent the cards or payment yet. Not sure what to think.
