My local dealer's nephew was working at the shop and a guy comes in and wants to buy an empty PCGS box.

The nephew sells it to him unopened. Turns out it had an expensive slabbed Saint in it.

Guess if the guy brought it back to the shop.

I have about a dozen or so left after sending a friend
ten that I had no use for. He was happy and I made
room for more !!

A YN that I met at FUN, mentioned he was working on
a type set in PCGS rattler holders and wants to get a
box for them. They are pretty scarce, I guess ??!!

I don't use plastic PCGS/NGC slab boxes. I prefer to store my coins in Intercept Shield boxes.

Original question, I have a few of the blue PCGS around, not sure where I got them as I have only two submissions to PCGS in my days. Probably from the trads/purchases I've made on here.

While we are at it, I wish PCGS would offer 40, 50 or even 60 coin boxes that would be compatible with safety deposit boxes.

Also would be nice if they would redo the lids inside so the slabs don't rattle inside the box.

I skit-canned a bunch of 'em prior to moving. Too bad they are not designated recyclable plastic.

I discovered 6 more in another cabinet.

That gives me about 22-23 slabbed boxes...

I found myself taking them out and shaking then and testing their weight to see if there were any coins
in them,,,,

I have done that a few times with all the boxes...shake em, open them, see if any coins are in them,,,,,

I will do that with the same boxes 3 or 4 times over the course of a year...

Always with the same result,.... no coins in them....

Not sure why I do that to the same boxes....you ever do that?
