Dollar Coin Question

So these things have been out for about 12 years. I know someone out there has a set that has been in a dansco album. What kind of toning are they showing? Is it that dull brown that is sooo appealing or is there something else???

  • Very interesting question. There are some subtle rainbows on ebay, but nothing that made my pulse race.

This is the only one I found that was slabbed:
    Toned Sac

I'm sure someone could turn up the heat and make some interesting AT stuff, but for NT it looks pretty mild, for the first 10 years anyway. Also, not worth $59 IMO.
    Thanks,

I've seen some amazing toning but not from a DANSCO. End of roll coins stored in the original Fed Box can turn violet -blue-red.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

I would say that ebay auction has turned in the holder. It is in one of the older anacs slabs that they were using. I was just curious because I have had both dimes and nickels get a nice little rainbow from being in a dansco in this timeframe or really less.
