Braswell & Sons in Conway, AR.
I've been in the place before just to check it out. They had a great selection of estate jewelry, (which I love to buy for the wife) bullion and silver coins. At the time, I was looking at buying and they were asking $4 over spot for ASE, $2 for .999. Not too bad.
Well, I was needing some diamond earrings for our 10th Anniversary. (Told her "traditional" gift was tin or aluminum, "modern" was diamond jewelry. She indicated it had better be "modern".
Yesterday, I found a 1991 $5 gold commemorative in my desk drawer and listed it on the BST for $415 shipped. Melt was $418 at the moment.
On a whim I took it with me to work and stopped at Braswells on the way to buy earrings and just see what they offer.
$410.
Not bad.
