I don't see a way to upload a new avatar in the profile section. Am I missing something here?

Are you on a mac using safari? I use chrome and had to use safari in developer mode as Internet Explorer to view the feature.

I am on a MAC using Chrome. Why does that matter?

Because it won't show up in chrome. Use safari in developer mode set to Internet explorer and it will show.

Okay, I have safari open in developer mode. How do I set it to IE?

Goto developer/user angent and select one of the internet explorers and make sure to log into here with it.

If you're on a Mac, you can alternatively use Opera as your browser and it will all just work. Don't ask me why.

The trouble is I've read posts here that when long time posters change their avatar it upsets those who like to read their posts because they are accustomed to seeing it. I guess I'll have to stick with the Chain cent reverse for the duration.
