i gave up on that website, way too many bugs/errors, i used the registry once they reinstated that, then it disappeared again. i've gone to excel sheets for my collection. does the beckett site actually work now?

Only been using it for the past week. A little slow at times and some wrong pics of cards at times the only complaints from me at this time.
I have some "wants" listed there, as well as some trade bait. I signed up and paid a fee because I saw a bunch of guys were on that site with the obscure things I'm looking for. Unfortunately, none of those guys respond to emails, so I've completed no trades.
I guess I'm the only stuck in the 90s and still using wordpad...
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Thanks Geordie & others, I resurrected Dave's thread from 2012 as a result of issues I am having at the moment. I also use excel for my graded card inventory, but I also have most of them online at PSA and Beckett depending on the grader. I like(d) the Beckett Organize because it had more consistent and accurate real-time pricing for each card than using the PSA SMR pricing. I use VCP for graded cards and sell those through an on-line eBay store. The Beckett Organize/Trade feature was nice for my raw inventory. I mainly use it for trading with others, and it has been pretty stable (as Beckett can be) for the last 3 years. I have had a number of trades over the last few years to improve my older raw sets, but recently had an issue with my collection that currently renders the entire 100k+ card inventory unusable. They have assured me they can get the data back to the state it was left this past Tuesday evening, but I am concerned. Zistle looks like a good option, but before I relocate my collection I was hoping for other options than going back to excel.
I use multiple Excel Spreadsheets and wrote a small application that reads the spreadsheets and allows me to update the records without having to navigate the individual spreadsheet. It works quite well in keeping tabs on what I have and what I need and spits out nice wantlists that I post on my website.
I used Beckett until they started charging to use the Organize tool. Now I use the Inventory Manager over at Sportscardforum.com and TradingCardDB.com. I'm glad I switched because Beckett is missing far too many sets and rarely makes any effort to correct errors in their database.
I use the TradingCardDB.com as well, to keep track of my Longoria card collection. I've got all my cards from 2006 to 2011 uploaded so far. Still need to upload 2012 to present.

I decided to go with my own homemade system.

Is anyone else using anything other than Beckett Organize?

+1, but I'm cheap so it's OpenOffice Calc.
To answer your question, I used it once, but as others have said it is buggy/slow/glitchy/otherwise unusable.
