bough this killer Franklin for only $16.00. from this store, it is worth a look at least I think so.

This is the first Franklin I have ever bought and in this shape
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

Glad you like it.
I didn't see that on the'61 Franklin Half though. Nice looking coin.

What I did was write the seller and I told him that I wanted that exact coin in the picture. He wrote me back saying he was not sure if he still had this exact coin in stock as it was a stock photo.
It took him a few days but we wrote back and forth. Then he emailed me back saying he had found the same coin as in the stock photo, So this is the coin I will be receiving,
I Told him I Only wanted that coin and he was able to get it for me.
Take care everyone.
Alan
BTW...that's a real pretty coin.

Usually I'd say "Franklin" and "real beauty" is an oxymoron, haha, but yeah, that is a nice looking Frankie for a non-CAM/DCAM proof, and a great picture. The price sounds reasonable, too. I just hope it's not a stock photo and you will get the actual coin seen here. Did you get it yet?
Edit: Aha. Glad you clarified to him that you wanted the exact coin shown. I hope there's no monkey business.
I have the greatest respect for you, as you have allways answered my posts
with an honest answer. Even when I make a mistake you have allways told me so, and allways with respect
With that said, I do know the seller, not well but I was told by a good friend who had done business with him before that he
is a very honest and up front guy.
My wife and I are on a very tight budget and this coin was a gift from my wife, I showed her the coin
and she said buy the coin as a gift from her.
So it is very special for me
Thank you for your expert advice.

I'd be better off if I made myself stick to a tight budget. I spend money like a drunken sailor until it's all gone, then I sober up and get wise for a little while, and then the cycle repeats itself. I have respect for people who are more disciplined with their money and who go through programs like that Dave Ramsey thing. I'm still growing up even though I'm 46 years old.
My wife and I have raised five great children, so I have had to budget all my married life.
Now they are all grown and gone, we still live in a four bedroom 96 year old house.
But when we decide to sell the house and move into an apartment watch out.
The coins they will be a coming. LOL

Oh, good heavens, man, if you haven't already, get your hands on a detector and hit those yards before you move out! You might just add a piece of silver or two to your collection for free! It won't be as pretty as the coin shown here, and you'll probably have to dig plenty of crap to get at it, but you never know. The yards around hundred-year-old houses are my favorite hunting grounds, because they're often untouched and can hold plenty of pleasant surprises. That's one thing about diggin'. It's always budget friendly. All you need is batteries once you've got the machine. (Of course your back and knees have to pay a price.)
THIS was a really fun day.
So was this.
And this.
You get the idea.
So in the spring I will go detecting and never leave home.
Thanks lordmarcovan
I will let you know know in the spring how it goes.
All the Best

They can be, even on business strikes, if the strike is sharp enough.

Hi I could tell you if I knew what a markete was. LOL
Alan
I have always been truthful whenever I post.
I don't understand why anyone would not be, there only coins.
I thing if I understand you correctly, you are talking about what I said about beeing on every form on the net?
This has me a little confused LOL So I have to asume that is what you mean
Well like I said I am on them all, mostly because when I write my articles on sample slabs, I can reach so many more people.
But then I started to make so many new friends that I now really enjoy being on all the forms now.
Take care my friend
Alan
