Hey, the "Posting Rules" sticky thread just started sinking...

Does this mean we can have a free-for-all now, like back in wild, chaotic old Open Forum days? image


Nah. I didn't think so.

Maybe it just means the forum gods are willing to trust us to behave ourselves just a tiny bit? Hmm. Dunno if I'd trust us or not, in their shoes.

    The one year anniversary of that thread just passed. Maybe Don Willis set a one year sticky span for the thread?

    The one year anniversary of the update mentioned in the title just passed, but the actual last edit shows as being February 16th, so not quite a year since the last edit. And it was posted on January 3, 2010, so the original post is more than two years old.

    I guess there must be some kind of setting where he could set it to "expire" on 2/12/12, though.

    Lord M did you notice that 2/12/12 is a palindrome? I was writing the date earlier and noticed that fact. Maybe that undid the glue of the rules thread.

    I didn't, but I like the way you think. I often see palindromes but overlooked that one.

    LOL @ the DEVO reference. Makes me wanna put on a pyramidal, flowerpot-shaped hat on my head. Nerds rule!

    PS- They Might Be Giants might indeed be giants, but DEVO is the coolest. Nerd band. Ever.

    (And to those who claim Rush is a nerd band, I say fuhgeddaboutit. They're just Canadians. Which is similar, but not the same thing. Prolly the coolest Canadians to ever draw breath, though.)
