Here's another of my dansco type set pieces.
I feel it's "almost original". Would it slab? - Any thoughts?

Yes I believe it will slab.

Even being circulated, the hairlines in front of the face and the scratch on the neck might be a problem though.

The scratch is very visible. I would say "genuine."

Looks nice and original to me. I believe it would holder without any problems. It is a much nicer coin than the majority of circulated coins holdered IMO.

Holder...there are some scruffy ones in holders a lot worse than this, of course the scruffy ones are mostly keys.

I thought the seated half would grade cleanly but this Barber bothers me. It's not so much the scratch which I think could be forgiven (it looks old). It looks like Liberty's face shows cleaning hairlines that might be fatal. No doubt an older cleaning.

If it were mine I'd move it along.

Probably not, hairlines indicate a mechanical cleaning.

Looks like there are hairlines in the field in front of the face. If it grades VF35 to ef40 I like the look of it good luck with it.

Very tough date actually in that grade, but I don't think it'll get
in anything more than a genuine holder. It looks like it was wiped
on the Obverse.

The scratch may be another factor for keeping out of a graded holder.

an old cleaning. borderline whether it will grade, but overall an attractive coin. still a lot of originality and character there.

I think it's a 35 but won't make the call from the pic. If I make the call from the pic I say genuine. The scratch is probaly amplified by the pic...but I would wager there are more hairlines than the picture presents! That's my pic grading call!
