I made a trade with this guy back on March 13th. I got this email on March 25th:

Hi,
Got the cards today, thanks. Sorry I forgot to get the Jagr out. I
forgot because you said that you were going to check refs, so I thought
you would let me know before you sent mine out. All is well though and
I
will send the Jagr jersey in the morning.

After waiting a couple of weeks since it's coming from Canada I sent another email asking if the cards were sent out. I got this reply on 4-10-02:

Hi,
Sorry been busy with other things, it is in the pile of cards to go out
in the morning. Sorry for the delay.

Since then I have emailed him 5 or 6 times with no response. Being that he lives in Canada can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can take legal action. I sent him over $100.00 in cards. I knew it was bound to happen eventually but it still irks me that there are people like him out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

isn't there anyone out there who can LMK what to do in a case like this. Do you go to the post office. contact the canadian mounties. I don't know. Usually when someone put's something like this up there a lot people reply with helpful advice. Please LMK

Well dude I hate to be the one to break it to you..But if you live in the US and are ripped by someone in another country there is absolutely nothing you can do...

Thats why you'll notice folks like Mpower etc.. posting alot saying DO NOT trade with anyone from another country that you don't know/trust...Theres just squat that can be done about it

well,that just put me off with trading to people outside the U.S. No more trading with people out of country unless I already traded with them or they send first. Thanks for the response AI3

Well, I've bought from people on Ebay from other countries. Reason is, if you get screwed over on Ebay (even if they are in the US), you are screwed anyways. Since there is a $25 deductable on Ebay, if you win a card that ended at $25 or less, you get nothing. They just kick the person off of Ebay and you are still out of luck.

Yeah I hate that about eBay...They should change that policy,or have different deductibles for each sales category because 80% of the categories I shop in most items end less than $25.....And even when you actually do get them to boot someone they just come right back with a new id..
