As has been discussed here many times before, Bobby has invested money in a Business/Service, do you think that it is Fair to circumvent that?

I can see an occasional request (Although an argument could be made even against that, spend the $3.99 for a day just like everybody else does!), but to blatantly spend $3.99 and then give away his paid busness product indescrimanatly.....Well you all figure it out !!!!

I spent $3.99 to look up 5 cards that I had because I felt that was too many to ask for on the forums. I am now using the UNLIMITED data for 24 hours that I get.

If he has a problem with it he can refund my $3.99 and remove the service, but as far as I'm concerned I am only looking up a few individual cards for a few people not thousands of cards for beckett.com.

Anyway running out right now will be back later.

Unlimited is Unlimited 100 cards for one person or 1 card for 100 people. It is the same as a CC member who has non members piggyback on member only specials.

Also, without other information, such as what the card looks like, the seller, shipping cost, et al, most of which is available on VCP, the information can be misleading.

Literally running out right now so this is my last response but....

I paid $3.99 for unlimited use of his database. I am privately and not for profit giving out not even 90% of the information I get (full spreadsheets plots etc).

Anyway as always on the forums, SOMEONE has to get their panties in a bunch

Based on that theory, let's each pitch in 50 cents and buy a yearly membership, then post the user id and password here. After all, unlimited is unlimited, 1 person for 1 million cards or 1 million people for 1 million cards.

I guess it depends on how many people he helps. Most people have asked for help before (I have 2-3 times).

If this gets out of hand, I agree. At this point it's only been a couple of people. They could have gotten this info by just posting.

I'm wondering about 1 card, that I do not own or will ever afford. 1925 Exhibit Henry Louis Gehrig Rookie any condition. I've always wanted one.. No need to look up for me.

I really do not mind from time to time members requesting prices on a card or two on the boards, it shows the non members what kind of information we supply. But Sean has taken it to a whole other level and in violation of our terms that he agreed to when becoming a member of VCP.

In all fairness the guy is running a business and giving away his information for free is really not something that is in his best interest.

I don't think Sean meant any harm but in a case like this I think you have to protect your business the way you are.

Sean, you obviously define "sharing" differently than the folks at VCP. Bobby has always been fine with limited sharing as he just stated. Your offer was for UNLIMITED sharing within your 24 hour period. To me, there's a huge difference. And, I am a subscriber to VCP. If I pulled something like you just did, I have no doubt Bobby would suspend me as well.

With all the thousands of dollars you purport to spend on cards, for the life of me I have no idea why you cheap out on a membership. I've found the data contained on VCP and the savings it has generated for me has paid for the membership fee many times over.

Knowledge is power and is worth paying for.
