I need 200 ounces of silver give or take, what is my best bet?

Need about 200 ounces, can do paypal, CC, Debit or similar. Where is the best place? What would you do?

90%
1 oz. rounds/bars generic
1 oz. rounds/bars name brand
ASE or Maples
10 oz generic or name

For whatever comes up the road and I need it for? You guys do this all the time so I wanted your advice.

I would go with 1 and 10 oz Engelhard and JM bars, 90% and ASEs These 3 forms have the best liquidity IMO

    Stay away from generic rounds.

I would also stay away from 100oz bars - hard to get rid of in a hurry

In order of preference for 200oz to add to my stack, I'd say

    10 oz bars generic > maples/eagles > 100 oz JM/Engelhard > 90% junk > 1 oz rounds > 10 oz JM/Eng

The 10oz JM/Engs are just too much of a premium IMO. Basically the same price as maples, but less divisible.

goldmart.com has ASEs 2.69 over spot, silver maples 2.19 over spot, 19.95 shipping, and they take credit cards. Have never dealt with them.

I would purchase 1oz to 10oz Engelhard or JM bars and ASE.
These will get you the best resale value. Try posting "wanted
items" to forum members. I've gotten very good prices from
    forum members.

given your location, it can't hurt to have some Mexican silver in the SHTF stack. Libertads and Onzas are what I like.

The only silver I buy and own are ASEs and JM bars. Both are easy to move when you have to sell.

ASE's are my main focus for silver... I do have a one troy pound ASE though.... got that years ago when silver was super cheap. Cheers, RickO

They will also take personal checks if you want to avoid the CC surcharge. But, it has to clear before they ship (duh!). image

As for what to buy, it all depends on what you want to pay an ounce and what you expect to get back when you sell and who you are selling to.

Personally, I like ASE's and CML's with some of the other stuff (depending on price). I also like 90% just because I like the look of old coins and I can play with it! image
