1954 - 1964 Proof Set Run Liquidation

High everyone! I am being forced to sell my coin collection over the next few weeks due to a serious downturn in income. I am having second thoughts selling this as a set. Is there anything I am missing? Should I have listed this differently? Any input would be great. Should the 57 half be sold by itself as i could be a cameo? Is one of the 1960 sets a large date as I have stated? Thank you! -Kurt

Looks like you met your reserve. That was a lot of trouble to photograph every coin. I hope it helps you get a better price, and it probably will a little. I don't think the 57 half is a cameo. The closest cameo from the pic is probably the 54 cent. Some people are going to consider this post spamming and it probably should be in the BST but Good luck anyway!

I probably would have sold the sets separately but listed at the same time so someone could buy several sets and save on shipping. I also believe these coins are minted in Philly so would have selected that in the details section. Nice job on the photos.

All in all a good listing and if bidding has hit your reserve you are a seller who has achieved their minimum so you have to be happy about that!

I actually did not have a reserve on the sets. I am risking that a non reserve auction will benefit. I think I paid around $500 for them a few years ago so I would need at least that plus to cover costs. I guess I really should have split them up. Oh well.

So, no real gems in here then? Just average coins that I should not worry too much about unloading in sets?

listing single might have got you a few more dollars but with sets like those and decent pictures I think you'll do just fine.

Yes, that's right. No worries. Unloading in sets is appropriate and will save time.

Good listing. The coins are already bid at considerably more than you would get if you sold to a B&M. The individual photos helped the sets to achieve that level.

Wow, thank you everyone. I have been reading these boards for a long long time and know there are some real experts lurking around. I really am thankful to have the imput. Just so I understand the rules a little better, is it not ok to post on your own auctions? Is it ok to post them in the BST forum? What is concidered spam on this forum?
