nice bank visit today
I went to the bank to day and as I was filling out my deposit slip I heard a familiar sound of large coins being counted by one of the tellers from across the lobby. I looked up and could not see past the lady cashing them in to see what kind they were. I thought no worries as to what they were, I wanted to see what they were. So I waited in line for my turn to see a teller, I didnt get that same teller but still I asked my teller to ask if that one had just received some older dollar coins and if so I would like to buy them. I knew from watching the transaction that there were 22 coins turned in so when my teller said there were 22 of them I asked for them all. Even though the teller that took them in had put them in a bank pouch and hid them in her little drawer she was reluctant to hand them over, at that moment I knew there was something nice in the batch of coins. When my teller finally showed back up with them he had them in that same little bank pouch and asked if I wanted him to count them. I said no thanks, I know there are 22 of them in there. When I left the bank and got into my car I finally looked in the pouch and was very happy with what I had just paid $22 for. In there were 19 mixed dated Ike dollars, 1 1972 S silver Ike, 1 1976 Bicentennial silver Ike, and for the last coin it was a 2007 American Silver Eagle. I could not believe someone traded that in for just a buck. Here are the 3 silver coins found from today.

Nice trip to the bank today.

As far as ever getting an ASE, I think I was just in the right place at the right time.
