This is a somewhat confusing thread.
If you want to blame the price, chase after the bidders (not the seller).

Also, no other graded coin by the seller has the star decal. He probably purchased it like that from the last seller.

I think RickO is referring to the sticker on the slab that has the coin priced at "$815 bid"

I owned one of those coins, a vam dpl. Sold it several years ago for about $700. How are these doing anyway? Probably no dramatic price increases.
