My 1st Commemorative Half

I had this coin on my ebay watch list for days. Loved the look of the half but I wasn't thrilled with the asking price.
I didn't get a bargain on the coin but I was happy with the final BIN price.
I thought being from Texas it only appropriate that this was my first.

<< <i>Nice pickup! Is this the start of something? >>
Thinking seriously about getting all the date and mm's of the Texas commems. That would be 13 coins total.
Other commems? We'll see.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

<< <i>A 13 pc Texas set would be a challenge. (and fun). I still don't have a single Texas.

I saw this one on DLRC. Made an offer that was accepted.
I have purchased several coins from DLRC and think I can read their images fairly well. I think this Texas will have nice luster and a great skin of natural light golden toning. We will see.
