My Favorite Morgan Dollar

I'm sure we all have our "one". Anyway this is my "one"
This is a raw self submit 1885-O I picked up a year or so ago. I have other morgans in my registry that book much higher (even a top pop dmpl). But No other coin puts a smile on my face like this one does.
Super frosted devices with gracefuly toned watery fields make this coin the pure eye sex that it is. The reverse has this same Ice cold luster.
enjoy,

Post the reverse too!
<< <i>I know it may be tacky to note.....but Rodebaugh's 85-O appears to kick other DMPLs in the teeth! Wow what a monster cameo. I've hunted cameo DMPLs like that one for years. True black and white monsters are very rare. Amazing! Best part is that it does not appear that any photo monkeying has gone on with the pic.
Post the reverse too! >>
That would be such a tacky comment but it is so true. The OP coins really stands out.

Everything in this thread is pretty, but I don't think I've ever seen an icy frostmonster like that.
It looks like a true proof, and DCAM proof at that.
I've heard the term "branch mint proof" bandied about but don't really know what it refers to. Could it be something like this?
PS- yeah- where's the reverse?

I'll get a fresh set of Obv and Rev up tomorrow. The coin, however, is in new plastic (pcgs secure plus).

Not only Tiffany, but 14k as well.
Really great coin with think frost you could almost lick.
I usually don't like photos of <MS65-66 DMPL's because of the way the fields look with all the marks, but I like that first Obv. pick of yours. Nice color also.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
One of my favorites. Photo by Todd.

<< <i>Here is a new set of pics with a quick reverse shot and a direct light obverse shot to better show where the toning lays.
Rodebaugh-
So I'm curious............................how many pm's have you received wanting to buy that piece?
Latty L.
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
So many great looking coins, I couldn't pick a favorite.
The OP's coin is one of the most frosted DMPL's I have seen.
Five cents - I love the toning on that coin.
