I wonder what I will get when I get this in the mail. Looks pretty nice but we shall see?

  • Looks pretty good in the picture, maybe some light spots on the reverse. Is it certified?
  • a penny?

Coin is raw and is a gamble at best. We shall see what happens when I get it.

It almost looks like it could be cleaned to me, but could also be the lighting in the picture. Good luck!

Looks promising. I would wager MS62 from the pics, but you could end up with a 58. Let us know how it turns out!
  • The big question is what did you pay for it?
    Positive:
BST Transactions: DonnyJf, MrOrganic, Justanothercoinaddict, Fivecents, Slq, Jdimmick,
Robb, Tee135, Ibzman350, Mercfan, Outhaul, Erickso1, Cugamongacoins, Indiananationals, Wayne Herndon

Definitly a scan. I've done it enough to know that copper usually looks worse in a scan than in person. You're either going to be very happy- or it'll be cleaned....I don't know enough to ID one of them based on a scan.

  • My gut tells me I am going to be happy. We shall see. I am excited to get it in.

I'm going to go against the grain and guess that the coin is recolored. I used to scan my coins and I can't remember a true red Lincoln cent ever looking that orange. I hope I'm wrong, though.
