Is it just me or does this coin look almost environmentally damaged?

    Looks a little unattractive to me (especially for the priceimage)

    And a VERY common date in the series.....
    It's just not what i would consider attractive toning.

    All toned coins are env damaged its just a matter of degree.

    No environmental damage- no premium for color- its looks to be about a $50 coin

    Seems overpriced to me for a common date Peace dollar with ugly toning.

    i don't dislike the tone but it for sure is a fantasy price.

    It is environmental damage (all tarnish is just that)... and it looks as if it occurred in the bottom of a saloon spittoon. Cheers, RickO

    Let me add that after looking at all his toned Peace Dollars on eBay, they ALL seemed to be priced extremely high.

    Ok heres a question, picked these off last week and there suppose to be BU album toned, if I dip these in acetone will it make these nice and shiny? thanks tom image

    Acetone will only remove organic matter from the coin, not toning.

    Your coins appear to be environmentally damaged.
