    Wow,

gameused I like the way you think. We almost have the same picks.

It would be an over under on a game if we were in the running.

    MUGGGGGGGSTERRRRRRRRRRRR,

Great pool. Looks like it will be fun watching the picks, even as a non participant.

I have a question about tie breaker #2. (Yes, you know I'm doing this just to break your balls)

    TIE BREAKER #2.
Pick the 2 winning teams. So, write the AFC winner and NFC winner. (0, 1 or 2 points)

My question to you: Was it necessary for people to write down the AFC and NFC winner? I would think even YOU could figure that out by the points listed for each team. You know, the team with the most points wins?

If Jimrad wins then that means, by default, I get 2nd. We have the same total points except he has Baltimore beating New England.

It's scored by the individual team scores not by total points scored...muggy put an example in his first post...

    "FOR EXAMPLE: If you guess...
    1. 13
    2. 44
    3. 21
    4. 31

    and if...

    1. The Ravens scores 18 ... (-5) points
    2. The Pats score 40 ... (-4) points

    3. NYG scores 21... (0 points)
    4. SF scores 35......(-4 points)

So, this person is -13 points. It is scored like golf, the person the least amount of points away, is the winner. "

Huge stop by Baltimore! LOL What a great game.

Edited to add: What a crappy way to end the game. I was rooting for NE (but really didn't care too much who won) but would have liked to see O/T.

    Now LET'S GO GIANTS!!!!!

Looks like rtimmer takes the early lead at the halfway point with "6" points.

If I am looking at this correctly rtimmer wins unless the Giants win

    23
    17

and in that case Swartz would win by one point?

  • The 2 winners, please email me your mailing address that I will forward to Steve.

For the Muggymania Super Bowl pool, it will probably be $25, 50 or $100. The more money we get, the better deal I would get us from Steve.

Feel free to give me an idea on how many here will participate? I might even ask for help from someone here because I don't have time to be in charge of this for the next 2 weeks.

And yes, Super Bowl pool will be in the form of credit/gift card from BBCE, so the winners can choose whatever they want.

    Great games today.

    Thank you to you!

Just out of curiosity, why did it matter if you got the winner right or not?? Apparently just the total points were being counted. Is there no points for getting the winners right or the total points in the final game right?
  • gameusedhoopgameusedhoop Posts: 3,594 ✭✭✭✭
Winners were just tie breakers. We could have had a 3-4 way tie, then we would have all kinds of scenarios, they were just being covered in advance.
  • <<Just out of curiosity, why did it matter if you got the winner right or not?? Apparently just the total points were being counted. Is there no points for getting the winners right or the total points in the final game right?>>

That's just how I made it, no right or wrong way. I made it on the fly, 'first time. ok, moving on...

    Super Bowl!

Stand by for details, It is going to be $25 each x 100 "boxes." Respectfully, I don't have the time to do this for the next 2 weeks and I am in a freakin' sling for the last 10 days and for another 2+ weeks. I am now going to reach out to someone here to help me be..... commissioner!

    In summary,
    100 "spots"
    $25/each (= $2,500)
You may buy up to 4 "spots"
$2,800 worth of merchandise from BBCE website.
The Game has not set any rules or $ breakdown yet
All rules are set by Muggyman
    See above.

    See you soon!

  • You know I'll help. I can put something together tomorrow. Just let me know.
