Platinum a win - win

And, automotive manufacturing is seeing a pickup (pun intended)

I'm not as optimistic but I did buy a stack recently as premiums came in. MJ

Took awhile to find a good trade, but I shifted 10 ounces of gold for 10 ounces of platinum a few weeks back. Seemed like a logical way to spread risk and possibly capture some upside.

It seems like a good move but I've experienced
    difficulties selling platinum vs. gold.

From what I have seen, gold appears to have a much more ready market than platinum..... and that means easy liquidity. Cheers, RickO

I have been trying to buy platinum for the past few months. Problem is locally there is none to be had. I bought 3 oz last fall when it was near 1800. I would love to buy some at 1530 if I could find it

  • its very difficult finding platinum now. I've only found one person who said they could get their hands on multiple pieces of platinum.

Yep. And if you can find it, generally the premiums are pretty insane. Still, I think it's a good buy if you can get a reasonable price on it.
