Silver Coinstar Find

I love reading about the finds others have made and I try to walk by the Coinstar machine whenever I'm at the local grocery store. It's a pretty busy place and there is occasionally something either in the reject slot or on the floor in front of the machine. Today there was a 1952-D dime sitting on the floor near the reject bin, looks to be in VG-F condition. A very nice surprise!

Nice little find, I have found a few pieces of silver also nothing of great value but still fun finding them anyway.

all i get out of them coin stars is a few zinc carp cents once in a great while. oh well, you cant have it all

I found a 1959-D under the machine once. I also like when people leave their "rejects" right on the machine so someone like me can come take them home.

Today I found an elongated cent from Alaska and a Euro cent from Italy in a grocery store CoinStar.

I got my first Coinstar find just the other day -- a VGish 53-P dime that looked like it had been dipped at one point and had a gouge in the rim. Also a mangled Zincoln.

Sure is fun to find silver. Like stooping to pick up a $2 bill!
