Ebay completed auctions is a good start. You have the coin in hand and can compare the
coin's condition to the ones that are sold. Try to find ones that look exactly like your in the
    same condition.
If you need further help feel free to post a picture here and ask the question. Most here use
Photobucket to have their pics show up at a decent size.

    Welcome, by the way!

  • #1 thing to worry about/do to the coins:

DO *NOT* CLEAN THEM! You may think a bit of soapy water and a washcloth is a good idea, bit it isn't.

Welcome aboard inheritcoin... best to start off with a Redbook, learn about the dates and values, learn about grades. Then show some pictures here... many will help. Cheers, RickO

Welcome and like most have said....search Ebay under 'completed items' for the prices.

Check on the back of theses 2 and under "FIVE CENTS"
if theres an "S" mintmark, they are scarce, especially if
the date on the front has all 4 digits.
